When should you choose StareGlare?

  • You ship a Mac app or a website as well as a Godot game and want every report in one inbox.
  • You want to reply to players by email, with their answers threaded into the report and a private page where they can follow it.
  • You have many small projects: StareGlare does not limit the number of apps.
  • You want Claude Code to read reports, fix the code and reply to the reporter.

When should you choose Forge Logger?

  • You only need reports from a Godot 4 game and want a free plan.
  • You want players to file the report inside the game, without opening a browser.
  • You want reports queued while the player is offline, or sent to your own server.
  • You want AI summaries and reproduction steps, or Jira export.

What does StareGlare not do?

No session replay, no performance monitoring, no source maps or symbolication (errors and crashes can be captured automatically if you turn that on, grouped and counted, and a report sent after a crash carries the crash log), no iOS or Android SDKs, no game-engine SDKs other than a Godot 4 addon, no feature-voting boards and no live chat. If you need those, another tool may suit you better — check the comparison above.
