StareGlare vs Sentry User Feedback

Last updated 1 October 2026

Sentry's user feedback widget attaches feedback to errors and replays, which is ideal if you already run Sentry; StareGlare adds the conversation with the reporter and works well alongside it.

When should you choose StareGlare?

  • You want to reply to reporters and keep the conversation in one threaded inbox.
  • You want a hosted report page and a tracking page without installing an SDK.
  • You ship a Mac app and want logs and a window snapshot from the reporter.
  • You want Claude Code to read reports and reply.

When should you choose Sentry User Feedback?

  • You already use Sentry for errors and want feedback attached to the error or replay.
  • You need crash and error monitoring, not only reports.
  • You want feedback included at no extra cost on a plan you already pay for.
  • You can pair it with StareGlare for the conversation with the reporter.

What does StareGlare not do?

No session replay, no performance monitoring, no source maps or symbolication (errors and crashes can be captured automatically if you turn that on, grouped and counted, and a report sent after a crash carries the crash log), no iOS or Android SDKs, no game-engine SDKs other than a Godot 4 addon, no feature-voting boards and no live chat. If you need those, another tool may suit you better — check the comparison above.
